Karen Cowan of RMC Announced BOMA Member of the Year!

In July 2021 Karen Cowan was awarded the BOMA Member of the Year for the Pacific Southwest Region out of thousands of highly qualified BOMA members. This region includes the states of California, Hawaii, Arizona, and Nevada. This region includes the states of California, Hawaii, Arizona, and Nevada. This award was announced in the BOMA Views Magazine that released this quarter!

Karen, who has been with RMC for 16 years, is responsible for account management and business development in San Francisco, South San Francisco, the Peninsula, and East Bay in the field of commercial real estate. While working with RMC, Karen has supported BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) in a variety of roles. These roles led to her Member of the Year award — an award that typically goes to members who are property managers!

A formal presentation with a physical award will take place later this year at the local BOMA level and BOMA San Francisco.

Also celebrated in the magazine is RMC’s newest hire Salvador Plascencia. Sal is the Operations Manager of the Speciality Building Services Team – a division offered to commercial clients in the Bay Area!
