RMC’s Charles Cassani Accepts the Marty King Lifetime Achievement Award!

Charles Cassani, Analytical Specialist at Restoration Management Company for almost a full decade, was recently awarded the Marty King Lifetime Achievement Award at the RIA Annual Conference in Orlando, FL. This morning, the Founder and President of RMC Jon Takata, announced Charles’s achievement to the entire RMC team:

“As the founder and President of this company for the past 36 years, I have many fond and memorable moments to reflect upon.  Of course, these moments were only made possible by each and everyone that has been a part of this great Team. These moments could have been revenue milestones, branch, division, or state expansions, or just watching individuals grow professionally and personally.  Today, I would like to share with you my most recent memorable moment.

On Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 at the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) annual conference in Orlando, Florida, our very own Charles Cassani was awarded our industry’s most prestigious award:  The Marty King Lifetime Achievement Award.  This is presented to individuals who are recognized for their exceptional contributions and dedication to the restoration industry.

With Charles Cassani’s 50+ years of industry experience and his wealth of knowledge, he has always been willing to help restorers throughout the country.  Charles helped and guided me several times over the years.  He also assisted in creating our industry’s education standards, has been an active member of RIA since 1984, and was one of nine members to take part in the Certified Restorer Redevelopment Committee. Most recently, Charles is participating in RIA’s Advocacy and Government Affairs (AGA) Committee’s efforts to even the playing field between professional restoration contractors and the insurance carriers.

“I had the pleasure of attending the convention with the principles of this organization who sponsor my participation in RIA and AGA.  I could not have asked for a better group of cohorts to witness this event.  I doubt that it means much to those unfamiliar with RIA, Marty King, and the years that Jon, Garrett, Dave, Robert, Blake, and I have devoted to this industry.  I believe Jon has a significant influence on all of us who work at RMC, and that in itself is what’s important.  My employment with RMC has boosted my status in the industry due to Jon’s stellar reputation, accomplishments, and financial contributions to the AGA.  I share this recognition with Jon, Garrett, Dave, Robert, Blake, and all of the RMC employees who have contributed to the success of this organization.”

We are incredibly lucky to have Charles on our Team. He is now one of only thirty-five individuals who has received the MKL Award.  It’s nice to know we have the pleasure of working with an individual recognized by his peers as a significant contributor to the betterment of the restoration industry.

Please join me in congratulating Charles Cassani on his much-deserved award!”
