Please join Restoration Management Company in welcoming Benicia’s new Account Executive, André D Smith.
André has a proven track record in driving revenue over twenty years of sales experience. As an account manager, he most recently worked as resolutions manager for Kaiser Permanente.
In addition, André served in the United States Marine Corp, serving in the US Navy for nine years! A fun fact about André is that he had an opportunity to swim with sharks in the Indian Ocean. In his free time he enjoys playing a good game of golf.
André’s morals and personality deeply align with RMC’s core values and we are thrilled to have him part of the family .
André was kind enough to share some of this time interviewing with us and giving us a little bit more of an insight to himself and his background!
Where you are from
Originally born in Oakland, but grew up all over the Bay Area.
What is your background/experience?
Military, real estate sales, marketing, VA benefits and Medicare sales
Tell me what accomplishments you’re most proud of :
I am most proud of my three grown children. A close second would be the opportunity I had to address congress in my role as Assistant National Membership Director for the Disabled American Veterans.
What you did before your current profession?
Group Medicare sales for Kaiser.
What was your biggest success professionally. Why was it a big success?
Establishing the presence of the Wounded Warrior Project in San Diego California. Helping veterans is a passion of mine, and opening the California branch for this service organization, at the location where I attended boot camp was an awesome feeling.
List 1-3 reasons you’re different than others in your profession:
Sales and service is a lifestyle for me. Most sales people see it as a job.
With regards to RMC specifically, I experienced a loss and the company came to the rescue. SO I can attest to the service we provide.
What are 3 significant drivers that motivated you to learn your profession?
Having experienced a loss, I know firsthand the feeling of helplessness. I look forward to providing support to companies and individuals who at a time a loss doesn’t exactly know what to do or what to expect. Having personal experience with RMC, I believe in the service the company provides.
