I just had my basement finished and two days after the job was completed, I had a flood. Water was coming through the foundation, due to a broken sprinkler line. I called Account Executive Carole first thing in the morning after trying to contain the leaking and she had a crew arrive in less than 1/2 hour. The RMC team was extremely professional, conscientious, and addressed the problem quickly. The team removed the excess water, installed fans and a dehumidification system and limited the damage caused by the water. When the project was complete all I had to do was replace the base trim. I did not even have to remove any flooring. The water underneath the newly installed vinyl tile was completely eliminated. As a result of the expertise and quick action of the Restoration Management Company team, I didn’t even need to file an insurance claim. If I did not find a company to respond in a timely manner and do the job correctly, I know for sure that there would have been drywall damage and other complications.
The most impressive part of the experience was the communication, confidence, and professionalism of the staff. The crew at my home explained to me what they were going to do and what to expect each day until the job was complete. I also had interaction with the project manager who also stopped at my house once the team was finished with the first phase. I had complete comfort during the entire process and my family was able to enjoy the finished basement very soon after the event. RMC definitely takes pride in their appearance, their service delivery, and they work with high quality equipment.
